Women’s Fellowship will resume meeting on Sept. 7th with its Brown Bag Luncheon at noon at Eunice Spooner’s Cottage in Sidney. Pack a sandwich or salad and beverages and dessert will be provided by hostesses Jeanne Nason and Nancy Godfrey. The program for the meeting will be the annual Yankee Book Swap; bring a book or two that you have read recently, share a few words about it, and swap your books for new reading material. The business meeting will discuss the upcoming Fall Rummage Sale as well as November’s Harvest Supper. We welcome any interested individual to our monthly meetings. We will gather at the church at 11:30 to car pool to Spooner’s cottage.

We will be sorting rummage on Thursday, Sept. 15th, and prior to that we will need help distributing posters for the event as well as volunteers to provide refreshments for the workers — soup, muffins, cookies. Posters and sign-up sheets will be found in the narthex. Donations for the sale may be left on the stage prior to sorting day; pick-up can be arranged by calling the Olivers at 873-7410. Please remember that we want clothing in good condition which is appropriate for the approaching colder weather. We will try to sell almost anything that is clean, in good condition, and has a useful purpose.
