We are an active congregation of over 425 souls, engaged in worshipping and working together as Christian persons in service to our Lord, Jesus Christ. No matter who you are or where you are on life's journey, you are welcome here.

Our history dates back to our founding in 1828, and our life as a family of faith expresses a diversity of backgrounds. While embodying the spirit of our New England Congregationalist ancestors, we nevertheless, seek to be progressive in preparing ourselves and our children to be the church in the twenty first century.

Currently, we are in the midst of a three phase capital program designed to make our beautiful meetinghouse up to date, and even more accommodating for persons with disabilities.

Our location is a blessing. Situated in central Maine, less than a mile from Exit 34 off I-95, our church serves a region that encompasses over ten communities and six school districts. We have a vital Christian Education program which includes a church school complete with nursery and toddler care, fellowship programs for junior and senior high students, a confirmation class, and Bible Study classes for adults.

We have a rich and lively music ministry program with five choirs: cherub, junior, youth, senior and handbell.

Our mission program involves ministry to persons locally through a food pantry, soup kitchen, and interfaith homeless shelter. We also extend the love of God through our gifts to the wider mission of the church.

Our staff stands ready to assist you.

When you are in the area, please drop by and visit. We invite you to join us for any of our worship or fellowship programs. Remember, no matter who you are or where you are on life's journey, you are welcome here.
