The children and youth from our Sunday School will lead us in the 10:00 am worship service on June 8. This year's theme will be the Church around the World. We look forward to a very special service. We will sing Sunday School Songs and recognize our teachers. After church we will hold our annual picnic. This year the picnic will be on the lawn behind our sign. Three new tents will shade us from the sun. Each committee in the church has something to do or bring. Here's the list: Grills-Men's Fellowship, condiments-Women's Fellowship, plates and napkins-Nominating Committee, hot dogs and hamburgers-Christian Education Committee, drinks and cups-Mission Committee, set up-Prudential Committee, clean up-Deacons, games-Youth Group, cooking-Men's Fellowship, and cake-Christian Education Committee. Everyone is invited to bring a salad or dessert. Fun and games for the kids, good conversation and food, will add to a great time.

It's not too late to register for Pilgrim Lodge, our Maine Conference United Church of Christ's summer camp. You can pick up a registration book in the church office or go to www.pilgrimlodge.org and register on line. Please let the church office know if you are planning to attend camp this summer. Both Women's Fellowship and the Christian Education Committee have scholarships available for campers.
